Performance Objectives:
Upon completion of the course, the student will be able to do the following:
- Describe concepts related to the Internet, Web site planning, design, development, and publishing in a Microsoft Windows environment.
- Utilize the Dreamweaver workspace and tools and components including toolbars, the property inspector, panels, document windows, and the option window.
- Use the Dreamweaver commands and features for site definition, organization, and resource management.
- Utilize the Integrated File Browser to copy data files and set the home page.
- Describe image file formats.
- Describe hyperlinks.
- Develop a local web page in a Microsoft Windows environment, format and incorporate images and links.
- Demonstrate the commands used to test web site implementation.
- Manage page layouts in Standard and Layout view.
- Insert tables, add content, and format.
- Utilize Dreamweaver Help
