Performance Objectives:

Upon completion of the course, the student will be able to do the following:

  1. Describe concepts related to the Internet, Web site planning, design, development, and publishing in a Microsoft Windows environment.
  2. Utilize the Dreamweaver workspace and tools and components including toolbars, the property inspector, panels, document windows, and the option window.
  3. Use the Dreamweaver commands and features for site definition, organization, and resource management.
  4. Utilize the Integrated File Browser to copy data files and set the home page.
  5. Describe image file formats.
  6. Describe hyperlinks.
  7. Develop a local web page in a Microsoft Windows environment, format and incorporate images and links.
  8. Demonstrate the commands used to test web site implementation.
  9. Manage page layouts in Standard and Layout view.
  10. Insert tables, add content, and format.
  11. Utilize Dreamweaver Help
  12. Describe the get and put features.
